Hey, Im Purepker or irl name is Brendan. Today Im going to show you how to make some decent smf forums if you are new
First you have to sign up at http://www.smfforfree4.com/free-forum.php
After you finish that you have forums like these
So basicly everything is defualt atm
the important thing about that is on there is the admin panel. The admin panel has everything you need so make decent forums.

The things I have Pointed too are important because
BoardsBoards are important because you need different boards to keep organized if you just have 1 board and one category
everything gets mixed up.
Manage StylesManage styles is very important because you can change alot of things with it...You can put codes in at manage styles,
Pick different backgrounds, make your own backgrounds, fix backgrounds and some more things...
lets talk about
backgrounds you can pick different backgrounds at the home page of manage styles or you can go to
http://styleyourforum.smfforfree4.com they have awesome backgrounds
Now if you click a background it brings you to that page.
Ok the style CSS can be found at admin panel >> manage styles >> edit style (pick default) >> go down to you see
style CSS remove that one copy and paste the new one. Now the Custom Images are found at, Admin Panel >>
manage styles >> custom images >> go down untill you see the defualt images switch them with the new
ones. Headers and footers codes, admin panel >> manage styles >> headers/footers >> copy and paste
the right codes in headers and footers.
MemberMember group section is good because you can make people staff, ban people who have broken rules, check things about other members
and some more things,
