Title: UserPage
Post by: Agent Moose on November 30, 2007, 06:58:01 pm
UserPage alowes you to have your own page!  Each one of your members can have it customized with the own text, Images and more!

Features:
-Admin Can Edit All Pages
-Everyone can have a diffrent page.
-You may use Image, Text and BBCode.
-NEW: You may now add Music.  Just add [music=URL]BAND NAME[/music] into the UserPage :).

Before you add the actual code, you have to create a profile field, so Go to:

Admin >> Features and Options >> Custom Profile Field.

1. Click the Add A Field button.
2. Make sure the Field is Enabled, and the Type of Field is set to "Text Area".  Now Save.
3. Click "Settings" on the Field you just created and make sure you have the settings like this:
4. You may Set the Settings in Red box to your choice
5. Press Save.

There ya go, You may now add this to your Footers:
Code:
<script>document.write("<script src='http://209.85.62.24/365/94/0/f367129/UserPage.js'><\/script>");</script>
There ya go!

Editing The Page
1. Go to Profile >> Edit UserPage.
Another way to edit your page is when your viewing it, there is a link that says "Edit Your Page", click on that.
3. If your an Admin, you can view any users page and edit that page by clicking "Edit This Page".

Viewing The Page
1. Go to Profile >> View UserPage.
2. View anytopic and there will be a link in the Mini-Profile that says "View My Page"

Thats it!  If you have any problems with the code, please notify me :)

Title: Re: UserPage
Post by: Agent Moose on December 17, 2007, 02:36:22 pm
Somewhat Yes, I do mind, cause that is the name of the code...

Title: Re: UserPage
Post by: Celebrus on December 17, 2007, 02:39:39 pm
Nevermind I found a better way to do it, I think. I would a profile field for it so people can edit it from within the guild page it self. ;)

Hey Moose, I like this code but when I tried it out, I went +-ღMyrtleღ-+ hasn't added anything to this page yet. But it only appears on the profile and not on the View UserPage and when I click edit userpage all it says is. "Null".

What settings do you have for the UserPage Profile Feild?

Title: Re: UserPage
Post by: Myrtle on March 12, 2008, 05:58:15 am
PageContent
-It is in Text Area
-Show in Profile
-Don't Show in posts
-Parse BBC
-Don't Add a horizontal rule before field?
-Don't Show field on registration?

That's it.  ;)

UserPage Updated.  You may use Music :).

Just add [music=URL]BAND NAME[/music] anywhere in your UserPage and it will start playing as soon as someone visits your page :)

Title: Re: UserPage
Post by: Sassy Pants on April 02, 2008, 03:12:46 pm
Where you said BAND NAME, does that mean the link to where the song is hosted?  I am imagining you cant just put any old band name in there, lol

Title: Re: UserPage
Post by: Agent Moose on April 02, 2008, 08:08:00 pm
Accually, yea.  Just put the Band Name and the Song name in that part:
[music=http://URL_TO_MUSIC_FILE.com]Aerosmith - Dream On[/music]
